Let's travel in OZ

Australia is a big country. The biggest island in the world. Being the biggest island and a little bit secluded, it offers a range of interesting, breathtaking and exotic places to visit. And, travelling in Australia can be quite a hassle especially when we have kids and require special dietary needs. again..Let me remind you, prepared food is quite expensive here. In this post, I will share the links for those who wish to travel on a budget (like me!) here.
For those who would like to rent rooms or apartments or units. Most of the accommodation offered are self contained meaning you can cook 1. http://www.airbnb.com.au/ (it's good if you can find the specific locations which is near public transportations) 2. www.takeabreak.com.au 3. http://www.stayz.com.au/accommodation/search 4. for reasonable accommodation in Goldcoast please go to www.ozyrose.com (the host provide halal breakfast and dinner too!) 5. for Malaysians coming to Sydney, Malaysian Hall also offers accommodation for reasonable price but bookings have to be made early. http://www.msda.org.au/malaysia-hall/about-malaysia-hall-sydney/stay-at-malaysia-hall-sydney/ For car rental, my suggestion would be 1. wwww.vroomvroomvroom.com.au this website compares car rentals like budget, thrifty and hertz Finding halal food is easy here. There are lots of Asian grocery stores. 1. The largest supermarket Woolworths (please go to www.woolworths.com.au) offered national brands that are actually halal even though they don't put 'halal' stamp. We just have to check the ingredients. 2. Coles also offered a range of halal food www.coles.com.au 3. Another supermarket chain that offers good food with reasonable price is Aldi www.aldi.com.au And, I would suggest you download this apps to find masjid or halal restaurant in aussie
Those who would like to find halal chickens and beef, I'll share with you in my next post.

Meet me halfway..

I am in the second year of my journey in completing my studies..How time flies. For the last one and a half year..my son broke his arm which requires me to halt on my study for 2 weeks and even now I'm still worried about his condition. Who doesn't? Hafiz with his visitors before the operation and while he's at home. His dad flew immediately from Malaysia to see his youngest son while his other siblings had to be taken care by my friends. Frankly, my dad was so concerned and being a traditional healer he made sure that my husband brought a bottled of homemade oil for Hafiz's broken arm..so that it can heal faster..

Giving rewards to children

I think I was being too cheeky when I promised my daughter that she'll get a pair of expensive school shoes if she passed and English placement test. When you have a fifteen year old daughter who sulks alot, it takes a lot of patience. I am so grateful that my daughter listens to me, though sometimes I'm a bit lost on how to react to her behaviour

COMMUNICATION

What is communication? How do we know whether our communication is effective to the listener?

To communicate effectively requires many elements. What are these elements? I really hope that all of you could give me some feedback as a starter.
